Overview

Neuroscience programme of Brigham Young University helps students be able to demonstrate a comprehensive familarity in their area of specialization as well as foundational theories, concepts and practices of the field. Students will add new knowledge to their field through designing and conducting experimental procedures, analyzing the collected data, and determining how the new knowledge fits in with current understanding.

Students at Neuroscience programme of Brigham Young University will:

Be able to improve professional development through teaching or teaching assistantships, and presenting and presenting their on going reserach in department (Neuro 694R), as well as publishing resreach in peer reviewed journals.

Successfully apply the scientific method by generating hypotheses, testing the hypothesis through studnet's research that includes appropriate controls, and formulating defensible conclusions.

Three Letters of Recommendation: at least two from academic mentors/faculty/research advisors.

Letter of Intent: Document summarizing your background, career goals, research experience, interest level, likely fit, and desire to conduct graduate research with at least three specific faculty members in the program.

GRE, MCAT, or DAT are not required but may be submitted if desired.
