Faculty graduate advisors are working with students in many disciplines including animal genetics, beef cattle management, sheep production management, reproductive biology, animal nutrition, muscle biology and food safety.

Graduate students, both those pursuing a Master’s degree in Animal Science or a doctoral degree, are scientifically trained in their field of interest to best develop skills that will assist them in their future career endeavors.
Scientific laboratories, animal working facilities, and production facilities, such as the University of Wyoming Meat Lab, allow students and faculty researchers access to advanced resources when conducting cutting edge research.
