Overview
The MA degree in Political Science and International Affairs at the University of Georgia is administered jointly by the Departments of Political Science and International Affairs and is designed as a preparation for the PhD. Students must complete three classes in research methods, as well as courses in the program’s offered fields. Between the two departments, courses are offered in international relations, comparative politics, American politics, law and courts, and political theory.

- Online Graduate School Application and fee ($75 domestic / $100 international). Please note that the Graduate School does not issue fee waivers based on financial need. - One unofficial transcript from each institution of higher education attended, except the University of Georgia. University of Georgia transcripts are on file. You may upload transcripts through the application portal or mail them directly to the UGA Graduate School.
- Official GRE general test score report. The UGA institutional code for ETS reporting is 5813. No departmental code is required.
