Overview
The Communication Sciences and Disorders master’s programs at the University of Georgia prepare students to be evidence-based, client-centered, outcomes-focused speech-language pathologists. The M.A. program integrates coursework, on-campus clinical practicum, off-campus clinical internships, and completion of a master’s thesis.

The MA in Communication Sciences and Disorders includes coursework across the lifespan in:

General requirements
- You are eligible to apply to the CMSD/SLP master's program if you have completed a bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders, speech and hearing sciences, speech-language pathology, or the equivalent, or if you are on track to complete such a degree by the end of the current academic year. If your bachelor's degree was in another area, you are eligible to apply if you have completed the prerequisite coursework and other experiences
- In addition to applying to the UGA Graduate School, you must apply to the CMSD master's program using the CSDCAS common application. You will use CSDCAS to provide your transcripts, essays, resume, letters of recommendation, and all other materials for the admissions committee to review. The UGA CMSD master's program does not require GRE scores.
