About

The business courses give students a better understanding of issues that occur at the interface between IT and business. The IT foundation courses cover the essentials of IT. The IT elective courses provide in-depth knowledge of technology and technology management issues. In addition, students may select approved electives that maximize their goals.

The features that set the UT Dallas MS ITM program apart are the breadth and depth of the curriculum and its flexibility. The curriculum offers electives in relevant IT topics, and many of these courses are offered in evening. Also, many courses are offered online to provide maximum flexibility. Since there is no difference in content between online and on-campus classes, students can mix online and on-campus courses to satisfy the degree requirements.

The program also offers opportunities for students with special interests to concentrate in a specific track within the IT area, such as business intelligence and analytics, enterprise systems, cyber security management, IT consulting and services management or healthcare systems.
