Program Overview

Evolutionary anthropology includes specialties in archaeology, behavioral ecology of nonhuman primates, biological anthropology, evolution of primate and human behavior, human evolution, molecular anthropology, archaeological theory, hunter-gatherers, and North American prehistory. Sociocultural Anthropology at the University of California, Davis, includes specialties in critical theory, experimental ethnography, politics, globalization, political economy, religion, science technology and society, urban space, environmental politics, and cultures of history, identity, sexuality, film, media and visual anthropology.
