Overview

The curriculum of the Digital Business and Innovation programme from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam links information systems with innovation management, covering everything from traditional enterprise resource planning systems to chatbots, artificial intelligence and social media.

But more importantly, you learn how to innovate on products, services, processes and business models in a business context by using these new technologies. Unsurprisingly, this combination is extremely attractive to companies currently undergoing a digital transformation process or advising others in this phase. Entering the job market

Forty percent of our programme graduates enter one of the large consulting firms – not in the least because of the strong ties of VU Amsterdam with Deloitte, KPMG and other consultancies. Many others go onto big companies (including Shell and Heineken), banks or non-profits. Some work on a niche technology for a small start-up with big growth potential. Throughout your programme, SBE Career Services supports you with your career preparations.

Your previous education needs to be deemed equivalent to at least a Dutch academic Bachelor’s degree obtained at a research university (nominal duration 3 years). Programme specific requirements

GPA of minimum 7.0/10 (Dutch grading system)
