Overview
We offer an educational experience that is among the best in public universities. Our students can learn from the many graduate level classes offered to become proficient in their research area. The depth and breadth options available are considerable.
Key facts:
- Our faculty members are active in state-of-the-art research and training, within electrical engineering and across disciplines with faculty members in other departments. In spite of the size of our programs, students will find help from his/her Advisory Committee of faculty members in formulating an individual plan of study that satisfies the degree requirements and matches his/her own needs, interests, and long-term goals.
- In addition to our traditional Master's and PhD program, we are now accepting applications for our newest graduate program. The MSECE degree with a Concentration in Innovative Technologies is a new and exciting one year Professional Master's Program in the School of ECE that is designed to prepare students for careers in industry.
- The Electrical and Computer Engineering program at the Purdue University develops well-rounded engineering leaders who combine deep technical expertise with breadth around the edges of their technical focus. Students also learn to appreciate the business, management, and social issues that play into the development of new technologies and products. The focus of this accelerated program is on learning how new technologies can be used to create innovative new products and solutions.
