Attentive and caring professors
Most of the professors are very patient and willing to help in any way they can! Overall, the registrar’s office is also very helpful and always responds to any issues you might have.
AAU Review
AAU is a close knit community of international students in Prague. Prague itself is a beautiful city and relatively cheap as someone moving from the United States. The class sizes are usually less than 15 students, and most of the professors are friendly and approachable. Most of the classes are pretty decent, depending on your major, and the after school activities are really nice. I especially love Trivia Nights!
Ideal, focused, international
I really like the sense of community in our university, I really like how small it is and that every class I can really focus on the lecture or the content. I love the building and the student events, overall a great school, also so great it provides dual degree

Campus life
The diversity at AAU creates a truly exceptional learning experience that is appreciated by our students and sets us apart from many other universities. AAU has a diverse and active student body whose interests stretch well beyond the classroom.
We have a student newspaper (At the Lennon Wall) as well as our own Art Yard. A variety of early evening events featuring local artists, musicians and writers is hosted in the historic space of our Library. Regular sports activities and student clubs are run under the auspices of our Student Council.
Sports facilities
We are here to build a community around the wonderful sport of basketball. The basketball club is a fun place where we meet once or twice a week to play matches, H.O.R.S.E., tournaments, shoot outs, and other challenges. We are passionate about bringing the people of our school together.
We are creating a supportive and fun-filled learning environment that enables the development of football skills and where each participant strengthens their love of the game. We provide players with a positive experience which helps to practice proper skill development, team participation and fun!Accreditation
AAU is one of few universities globally—and the first institution in Europe— to have received the prestigious accreditation from the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), an American accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
All undergraduate and graduate degree programs at Anglo-American University are accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic (with exception of the Law and MBA programs).
