History
Founded in Nantes in 1900, Audencia – from the Latin audientia, meaning “listening”, and audacia, meaning “daring” – was first accredited by EQUIS in 1998 and is ranked amongst the top European business schools. Learn more about Audencia’s quality.
Education
We offer fully international, English-taught programs at the Bachelor, Master, MBA, Doctorate, and Executive levels, along with a variety of English-taught short-term programs.
Research
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is at the heart of our research, programmes and operations. We were the first French business school to adhere to the UN’s Global Compact and sign the UN’s Principles of Responsible Management Education, which we assisted in defining. With the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) France as a key partner, we’ve incorporated research and teachings on CSR challenges into all curricula.

Lot of international students
Having a diverse community of international students is a fantastic opportunity to immerse oneself in different cultures and gain valuable insights into their attitudes and perspectives. It's great to see that the program offers courses tailored for professionals. This ensures that individuals can acquire the specific skills and knowledge needed to excel in their respective fields.

BOLDNESS AS THE DRIVING FORCE OF THE SCHOOL’S COMMITMENT The school’s stress on audacity has close links to its historical values: innovation, cooperation and responsibility. To innovate is to dare to take risks and make strong decisions. To cooperate is to dare to be open and to join forces with diverse partners as the school has already done, especially through its alliance with Centrale Nantes (engineering school) and ensa nantes (architecture school). To be responsible is to dare to invent new models and have the courage to rethink strategies, not because they do not work economically, but because they must also participate in a more sustainable and healthy world. Audencia strongly supports its pioneering commitment in all these dimensions.
Diversity and inclusion
It is great so far. They have diverse courses in their program and they include work study projects and internships so that by the end of the studies we will have both the skills and experience which makes it super practical and rewarding. Although, they should add more extracurriculars in their Paris branch just like they have in Nantes.

Housing services
You have a lot of options, including rooms in student residencies; homestays with local families; and private apartments, studios and flats. We have a housing platform that will give you information on what’s available. You can access it easily from the student intranet once you’ve been accepted to your programme and completed registration.
Audencia's housing platform will enable you to:
- Find a rental close to campus
- Find your international or French roommate(s) and form shared rentals
- Find a subletting
- Find a homestay with a local family
Library services
Throughout the year, the library team receives, informs and trains students in documentary research methodology, on how to consult databases, format bibliographical references and provides students with information on such issues as plagiarism.
Medical services
If you are a non-European student and will be studying at Audencia, we recommend you purchase international travel insurance, liability insurance and international health insurance that is valid for the entire duration of your stay in France.Health insurance in France may be very different from the insurance you have at home.
Campus life
Audencia’s main campus in Nantes is one of the most beautiful in France. We designed it specifically to give you a high-quality learning environment. We are housed in a 23,000m² purpose-built campus opposite the University of Nantes, so student life here is bustling. We also have campuses in Paris, Beijing and Shenzhen.
Sports facilities
Audencia offers you access to a sports hall equipped for team sports such as basketball, volleyball and football. You can also take advantage of our well-equipped gym as well as a fitness centre for activities such as dance, yoga and more. A public swimming pool and ice-skating rink are within seven minutes by foot.
Student clubs
Get involved in activities you love and meet students from different programmes, backgrounds and countries. With a wide range of on-campus clubs and organisations, you are sure to find a group of people you connect with.
