History
Founded in 1995/96, MCI has earned a top position in the international landscape of higher education.MCI links together the best out of science, economy and consulting to the unique concept of an international Entrepreneurial University of Applied Sciences providing the platform for numerous academia-business activities including start-ups, executive education, summer & winter schools.
Education
MCI | The Entrepreneurial School® is one of the most successful universities of applied sciences in the German-speaking countries and in Europe. The Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs offered by MCI in the fields of Management & Society as well as in Technology & Life Sciences provide high quality education. It stands for internationality, academic quality, practice orientation, innovation, close cooperation with industry, solution-oriented research and development, first-class infrastructure, a high level of customer and service orientation, and international renown.
Research
At MCI, research is considered as part of its social mission and supports regional, national and international partners in their innovation activities in order to increase their efficiency
and competitiveness. Research competencies at MCI focus on the most current societal, technological and economic challenges and use state-of-the-art techniques and research approaches to create innovative solutions for society.
Career

MCI has interesting study programs
Overall school is very nice, everything is in order. Staff very helpful, curriculum is appropriate. School in itself designed good. For new students the intro is helpful and answers all the needed questions, for a student who has just started.
Practical business‑world teaching
The university is great with an international environment, diverse subjects, nice facilities, good location & nice staff. I enjoyed the master program very much. Many professors are from the business world which is pretty cool.
So Good for Getting You Ready
Review of the Bachelor in Business & Management at MCI My experience in the Bachelor in Business and Management program at MCI was very positive overall. The teaching methodology stood out to me � it was clear, well-structured, and made excellent use of technology to support learning. The program offered precise and practical preparation, and the professors were highly competent and supportive. I especially appreciated the international atmosphere, both in the classroom and in the curriculum. The administrative office was very efficient and helpful, which made the student experience even smoother. Additionally, I believe the program offers a very good price-quality ratio � the value delivered for the cost is excellent. On the downside, the campus is relatively small, and at times, some classes leaned too heavily on theory rather than practical application. Overall, I would definitely recommend the program to students looking for a solid, internationally-oriented business education with strong academic and professional foundations.

CAREER CENTER: The Career Center at MCI connects students with renowned companies from all over the world while they are still studying. With the help of personal support from the qualified team, students can get tips for their application documents and job interviews. An exclusive job platform available only to MCI students and the annual MCI Recruiting Fair help students to a successful start into their careers.
INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS OFFICE: MCI is part of an attractive network of over 300 internationally recognized partner universities throughout the world. For the optional semester abroad, these universities offer MCI students a superb opportunity to acquire international experience and intercultural competence.
Housing services
Innsbruck has a long history as a university town and offers a variety of housing options including student dormitories, private rooms, and shared apartments. Prices vary depending on size, location, and equipment.
People feel comfortable in Innsbruck with the vibrant lifestyle on streets and squares, chilling on the banks of the river Inn, the lively old town and the pedestrianized Maria-Theresien-Straße, avant-garde alpine architecture in conjunction with historic buildings, excellent universities and colleges and all kinds of recreational facilities and cultural activities. Innsbruck offers space to live and study alike.
Library services
MCI Library Services provide guidance and support throughout the whole studies. Selected literature is available on campus and online. Individual counseling for research and academic writing is also part of the services. Additionally, MCI has a long-standing cooperation with the University Library of Innsbruck (ULB) that provides full access to the facilities of the University Library.
ICT services
The modern IT-infrastructure at all the MCI - The Entrepreneurial School locations, with state-ofthe-art computer rooms, freely accessible PC-workstations and campus-wide Wireless LAN, is one of the keys to ideal working conditions for students.

The vibrant alpine metropolis of Innsbruck not only offers students academic programs of the highest standard, but also impresses because of its incredible diversity: urban flair, unspoiled nature and adrenaline-filled adventures
At its 5 central locations, MCI offers an outstanding infrastructure with attractive and well-equipped lecture halls, computer labs and group working rooms, with state-of-the-art
workstations and research facilities, student hostels in the vicinity, a wide choice of good places for eating out, convenient parking and excellent public transport.
Sports facilities
The Entrepreneurial School® has teamed up with the SWARCO RAIDERS Tirol, European Champions League winner in American football and multiple-time Austrian champion, to create a successful partnership.
Always in view and only an arm's length away: the mountain world around Innsbruck is not only a breathtaking backdrop, but expands the living space of the city by a special dimension: Directly from the lecture with the snowboard to the Hafelekar, a ski tour at the Patscherkofel, a pleasure tour with the mountain bike to one of the nearby alpine pastures, a rapid downhill race or pure nature on a leisurely hike.
Student clubs
With MCI Alumni & Friends, MCI offers lifelong access to valuable networks and to a platform with now 14,000 members to stay in touch. In addition, access to high-end networking events, annual Alumni Weekends, the legendary MCI Summer Lounge, attractive continuing education opportunities, symposia, scientific expertise, personal coaching, professional support for business start-ups and much more are among the much sought-after services.
Accreditation
AACSB - MCI underwent the mandatory institutional audit and additional, voluntary institutional accreditation. The processes were handled by FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation), which has offices in Bonn and Zurich. In both cases the MCI was awarded the Premium Seal.
U-MULTIRANK 2022: Once again, the renowned "U-Multirank", initiated by the European Commission, lists MCI as a top performer among the numerous universities and colleges taking part. With 16 top ratings, the Entrepreneurial School® also tops the Austrian ranking.
CHE UNIVERSITY RANKING 2022: The Entrepreneurial School® has scored outstanding results in the University Ranking by the Centre for Higher Education (CHE).
