Since 1967, we have been welcoming students from across the globe to study with us at the University of Warwick. From humble beginnings with three courses, five staff and twenty-four students, WBS has now grown to become the largest department at the University, with a global network of over 45,000 alumni.
Our core values guide our behaviour and actions as a business school, in order to cultivate a Change Maker culture, for both our staff and students. We believe in giving our students the tools, challenges, support and confidence to become their best selves and achieve their dreams. Alongside academics studies, our students embark on a personal development journey to prepare them to reach their full potential.
Our faculty of research and teaching academics are constantly striving for excellence in everything they do, from the latest ground-breaking research to inspiring our students. We love collaborating with policymakers, the healthcare sector, and disability rights charities (to name just a few), to ensure organisations are embracing the future of change and creating a fairer world. We love sharing the latest ground-breaking research with our students, alumni and the wider public, which is why we produce our annual thought leadership magazine CORE and our CORE Insights Series, showcasing the latest theories and opinions from our faculty.
The Global Student Satisfaction Awards empower students across the globe to determine the best universities of 2021. Universities with a score above 4.0 (out of 5) in any of the 8 award categories, receive Badges of Excellence. Congratulations!
Our campus is an amazing place to live and study. We work hard to help you settle in and throw yourself into university life. You only have to set foot on our campus to sense that it’s buzzing with activity – from the award-winning Warwick Arts Centre to our great sports facilities, there’s so much to experience.
There are over 6,700 student bedrooms on campus but you would never know. Surrounded by greenery our accommodation buildings are comfortable, safe and secure allowing you to enjoy a new independent way of living. All of our campus residences are self-catered, which we like to think gives you the opportunity to explore your independence further.
It goes without saying that as a student, you’ll spend a lot of time in the library. Our Library is spread over five floors, houses 1.2 million printed volumes and 13 kilometres of archives. With over 30,000 electronic journals and more than 56,000 electronic books the Library offers a stimulating 24/7 environment for you to study.
With an abundance of equipment available on campus such as scanners and document visualisers; electronic whiteboards; video-editing facilities; network PCs and video cameras there is an emphasis on supporting you in the use of digital multi-media for your assignments and presentations.
We have a health care centre located in the heart of the campus.
We know that lifestyle is just as important as your degree course when selecting where to study. We’re proud to say our campus is home to students and staff from all over the world, making it a vibrant and inclusive place for you to live while you study.
We are lucky to be located close to lots of exciting towns and cities to explore, such as historic Coventry and Warwick, vibrant Birmingham, and lively Royal Leamington Spa. With great transport links nearby, WBS is located in the heart of Warwickshire, within an hour of the city of London and only twenty minutes from Birmingham Airport. The University of Warwick is a large, yet compact campus allowing you to enjoy the benefits of a bustling campus community.
We want to provide our students with the best possible experience and our sports and wellness hub does exactly that. Just a short 10-minute walk from campus, the new facility is designed to inspire and motivate everyone to lead a more active and healthy lifestyle. Here’s a taster of what’s inside:
Warwick Students’ Union is placed at the heart of campus and is the hub of student life. Whether you’re looking to join one of the many student-run societies and sports clubs or attend an SU social event, there are a number of opportunities to get involved, have fun and make new friends along the way.
We’re excited to welcome you to WBS, to join our hub of Change Makers championing business as a power for good. Along with just a handful or the world’s business schools, WBS holds the ‘triple-crown’ accreditation from the AACSB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business), AMBA (Association of MBAs) and EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System).
