Student services

Warwick Students’ Union is huge – newspaper, radio and TV stations, six food and drink outlets, and over 300 societies and sports clubs. The SU host a wide range of events throughout term-time to keep you occupied – there really is something for everyone. 

The Warwick SU exists to support its students; they have your interests at heart with the Welfare Advisors always on hand to offer advice and support.

Housing services

Even though there are over 6,500 student bedrooms on campus, you would never know. Every effort has been made to build interesting buildings, and surround them with greenery.

They are safe, secure, friendly, and a great way to make studying easy. Gas, electricity, water, insurance, basic cleaning and a high speed internet connection are included in the rent and all residences are furnished and maintained to a high standard. All have resident staff ensuring everything runs smoothly and looking after students' welfare.

However, we know that staying on campus isn't for everyone; there's great value housing in nearby Coventry, Kenilworth, and Leamington Spa, with excellent transport links to the university.

Library services

Spread over five floors, the University of Warwick Library houses 1.2 million printed volumes and 13 kilometres of archives.

Over 30,000 electronic journals are currently received and more than 56,000 electronic books. As well as the materials, the Library houses a variety of study environments, enabling group and private study.

Campus life

Located within twenty minutes of Birmingham, Coventry and Leamington Spa, Warwick Business School is at the centre of the lively and cosmopolitan University of Warwick campus.

Our safe and welcoming campus is home to students and staff from all over the world. Inclusive, vibrant, and packed with excellent learning, study, lifestyle and practical facilities, our campus is like a small town, teeming with activity and entertainment. Acres of green space provide the perfect backdrop for relaxing, walking, running, riding bikes, and outdoor sports.

Sports facilities

The main Sports Centre is situated at the centre of campus. It houses:

  • A 25 metre, six lane swimming pool plus sauna
  • Six squash courts
  • Bear Rock Indoor Climbing Centre and specialist ‘Bouldering Room’
  • Running Bear Fitness Suite with Strength and Conditioning Room
  • Two four-court sports halls
  • An Aerobics Studio
  • Physiotherapy facilities.
A new world-class sports facility, the Sports and Wellness Hub, housing a swimming pool, fitness suite, flexible studio spaces, squash courts and café, will be opening on campus in mid-2019.

Outdoor pitches

We have over 60 acres of playing fields including: nine grass football pitches; three rugby pitches; three cricket squares; and three lacrosse pitches.

Student clubs

Warwick Business School Society (WBSS) is the largest independent society at the University of Warwick. They arrange a wide variety of company presentations and networking events for different industries, as well as year-round social events. Joining WBSS is a great way to meet like-minded people interested in business and build links for your career.
