Warwick Students’ Union is huge – newspaper, radio and TV stations, five food and drink outlets, and over 230 societies excluding sports clubs. There are loads of events throughout term-time to keep you occupied – something for everyone. Plus they really work for their students; they have your interests at heart with the Welfare Advisors always on hand.
Even though there are over 6,500 student bedrooms on campus, you would never know. Every effort has been made to build interesting buildings, and surround them with greenery.
They are safe, secure, friendly, and a great way to make studying easy. Gas, electricity, water, insurance, basic cleaning and a high speed internet connection are included in the rent and all residences are furnished and maintained to a high standard. All have resident staff ensuring everything runs smoothly and looking after students' welfare.
However, we know that staying on campus isn't for everyone; there's great value housing in nearby Coventry, Kenilworth, and Leamington Spa, with excellent transport links to the university.
Spread over five floors, the University of Warwick Library houses 1.2 million printed volumes and 13 kilometres of archives.
Over 30,000 electronic journals are currently received and more than 56,000 electronic books. As well as the materials, the Library houses a variety of study environments, enabling group and private study.
Warwick is blessed with a beautiful campus which manages to be at once both peaceful and invigorating. Great care has been taken with all developments to make peace with the surrounding environment.
Campus has lakes, wildlife, sculpture trails, and lovely areas to sit and admire the view. It’s a nice place to be with your family too. There’s an excellent nursery and it’s very pleasant feeding the ducks and strolling around with children. There’s a well-stocked supermarket, a chemist, hairdresser, banks, pubs, cafes, bars and restaurants – everything you could need is within a short walk.

We have over 60 acres of playing fields including: nine grass football pitches; three rugby pitches; three cricket squares; and three lacrosse pitches.
Warwick Business School Society is the largest independent society at the University of Warwick. They arrange a wide variety of company presentations and networking events for different industries, as well as year-round social events. It’s a great way to meet people interested in business and build links for your career.
