About

History

The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts is one of seven universities of applied sciences in Switzerland. It was founded in 1997 under the Intercantonal Council of the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Central Switzerland (FHZ).

Education

The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts is a university of applied sciences that is supported by the six cantons of Central Switzerland. With 6,500 students attending bachelor's and master's degree programmes, almost 4,400 students attending continuing and executive education programmes, and 459 new projects in research and development, it is the largest educational institution in this region, the heart of Switzerland.

Research

The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts conducts practically oriented research and development with practice partners such as regional and national companies, non-profit organisations, communities and cantons as well as federal offices and EU institutions.

Customers are able to delegate time-consuming and costly development work to professional researchers.

Library services

iluplus – the search portal operated by the libraries affiliated to the IDS Luzern (the Lucerne branch of the Information Network of German-speaking Switzerland) – makes it easy to find items.

I will start my studies in September so I can't say so much. Buy during this difficult months of Corona the University managed to organise everything in a very efficient way . All the people have always been really kind and disposable, like I already was a memeber of the School.
