At SRH Hochschule Berlin it is our assumption that basic and applied research depend on each other mutually. Our research activities are combined within the cluster "Analyse von dynamischen Veränderungen von Struktur und Prozessen in Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft" (Analysis of dynamic changes of structures and processes in the economy and society).

Our academic methodology that is guided by the following four principles is leading the way for our research:

  • We want to conduct our research freely, autonomously, independently and critically.
  • We want to carry out our research in a creative and beneficial manner.
  • We want to conduct our research in a comprehensible way.
  • We want to do our research honourably.

Our SRH Hochschule Berlin Career Service supports students and alumni in planning their careers and sharpening their professional profile. Our service portfolio includes:

A wide range of consultation services for students

  • Career trainings
  • Yearly Career Week with presentations and workshops
  • Support in finding an internship, project work and job (placements) for graduates and students

Student Life

Campus life

SRH Hochschule Berlin is close to the underground station Ernst-Reuter-Platz. Ideally, students should look for accommodation near the campus in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district. This can be a difficult task, but it is not impossible. Students interested in living in popular districts such as Prenzlauer Berg and Kreuzberg must also be patient. Finding suitable accommodation can take some time, but Berlin has an important advantage: rent prices are still relatively low in comparison to other European capitals.

Since July 2009 the Scientific Advisory Council (Wissenschaftsrat) has accredited SRH Hochschule Berlin as an institution of higher education. This year the initial reaccreditation has been extended from 5 to 10 years which confirms the high quality requirements in teaching and research.
