Each lab is basically a small enterprise, doing some cutting edge research and implementing inventions, collaborating with industry. Immunology lab tests its anti-inflammatory drug in the second phase, in-vitro toxicology and pharmacology lab developes their own test systems. All professors are very friendly and inflvolved, lectures are extremely interesting.
It is important to know that the courses at the University of Konstanz are focussing on research in psychology; there are seminars / courses about psychotherapie itself (diagnosis, therapy, professional practice), but rather few and mainly accessible for master students.
