At the beginning of your stay abroad there are a lot of things you need to figure out. But no panic, the ISA Office (international student assistance) is happy to help you if there are any problems or questions. Here you can find support and advisory service, this includes:
The ISA Office offers its support when you are looking for a flat or a room. From experience we can say that the housing market is especially tense at the beginning of each semester.
Therefore we recommend to start with the accommodation matter as soon as possible. After having received the admission letter, the ISA will support you with information and contact details of several private and commercial landlords in Bremen.
The historic building, standing under monument protection, is situated in an ideal location – not only because the bus and tram station (“Hochschule Bremen“) is directly in front of the building, but also because it is just a short walk away from the Neustadtswall campus with all central buildings including the canteen of the Bremen University of Applied Sciences. In fact, the M building, which contains the university’s library, is located immediately opposite the new IGC campus in Langemarckstraße.
ISA is the International Students Association hired by Hochschule Bremen and is responsible for taking full care of the international students enrolled in different Master programs.
As a Graduate School of a German State University they regularly have the curricula accredited by an external accreditation agency (ZEvA, AQAS) which are part of the European Network of Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA). The University of North Carolina, Wilmington is an accredited member of AACSB International.
I really liked the international atmosphere of the IGC Campus and how it change to a full virtual course with not so many difficulties at the pandemic. Maybe the subjects’ content should have been taught in a more deeper way as it is a Master course.
