Rosemont College was founded in 1921 by the Society of the Holy Child Jesus. From the institution’s early days through the present, the SHCJ foundress, Cornelia Connelly has been a driving force behind Rosemont’s charge to educate students “to meet the wants of the age,” which has been an integral part of the growth of the College.
Rosemont College seeks to develop in all members of the community open and critical minds, the ability to make reasoned moral decisions, and a sense of responsibility to serve others in our global society. We are a faith-based institution focused on a liberal arts education.
Undergraduate students have the opportunity to do research with their professors, and graduate students can partake in graduate assistantships. For more information, please connect with a faculty member within your discipline.
