In 1976, Bethesda University was founded on a Christian groundwork derived from Pentecostal Theology to equip future leaders with the professional skills needed to become leaders in world peace and world missions by building churches and Bible institutions around the world.

Facilities include an ad- ministrative area, a chapel, a conference room, student center, library (over 30,000 volumes), class- rooms, an auditorium, an elevator, and 200 parking spaces including spaces for the handicapped. Classrooms are well-furnished and air-conditioned. This institution, the facilities it occupies, and the equipment it utilizes, fully comply with any and all federal, state, and local ordinances and regula- tions, including those requirements as to fire safety, building safety, and health.
The Library was founded in 1976. The Library holds about 48,400 volumes of books, 3,500 titles of serials (online subscription included), video tapes, cassette tapes, DVDs, and CDs in Religion, Early Childhood Education, Music, Management, ESL, etc.
BU does not operate on-campus health services. However, our students’ health and well-being are important to us. This is why we have agreements with a nearby physician and a nearby hospital for the provision of medical services for our students. University van can be used for transportation to and from the hospital in case of medical emergencies.
