History
The Aquinas Institute of Theology was founded by the Dominican Order and sponsored by the Province of St. Albert the Great.
Education
The Institute has also been a leader in online theological study and currently offers four separate graduate programs in a blended online/intensive format, including a Master of Arts in Health Care Mission (MAHCM), a Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (MAPS), ' Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry (MAPM), and the country's only Roman Catholic doctoral program in preaching (D.Min.). Excellence in preaching is further promoted through AI’s Summer Preaching Institute.
Research
The libraries of St. Louis University constitute an extraordinary resource for Aquinas Institute students. Pius XII Memorial Library houses a four-story theology wing, a wide range of theological journals, and electronic database resources as well as books that can be checked out for a semester. New students usually receive an orientation to Pius Library and are introduced to SLU’s theological librarian. The SLU Law Library and Medical Library are also available for specialized research.

At Aquinas Institute, we are dedicated to providing our students with the most complete education possible to serve in lay ministry or the priesthood. We help our graduates find positions in education, pastoral care, parish ministry, campus ministry and leadership roles in Church and community.

Exégèse de Marc 6.41-44 pour gestion des restes
La plupart des résidents au sein des campus universitaires n'accorde pas une importance à leurs restes alimentaires. Ces restes au lieu d'être bien conservé pour consommation future ou une utilisation à d'autres fin, se retrouvent dans la plupart des cas dans les poubelles. Augmentant ainsi la masse des déchets et la pollution. C’est au vue de la quantité non négligeable des restes alimentaires provenant des ménages des résidents de l’UPAC et de la mauvaise gestion de ces restes, que nous trouvons qu’un travail peut être effectué à ce niveau pour une meilleure gestion. ces restes représentent une qualité non négligeable d'aliments pouvant nourrir plusieurs si bien gérés. L’étude exégétique de Marc 6,41-44 pour une gestion des restes alimentaires au sein des campus universitaires de la ville de Yaoundé est le moyen pour nous d’apporter quelques éléments pouvant diminuer ou si possible éliminer la présence dans les poubelles des campus universitaires des restes alimentaires.

My university experiences thus far have been good I have learned and experienced so many new things in such a short period of time, and it has gone by so fast. I am still discovering all the opportunities that university offers me. In Kigali independent university is a very welcoming place, and from the first day, I felt at home here. I have made many new friends from many different backgrounds. There are Tanzanian and Congoles students on my floor in residence and that has allowed me an insight into their cultures

Aquinas Institute acts in partnership with Saint Louis University to provide our students with several services in areas such as disability support, counseling, job application skills and writing skills. These services are provided through the SLU Student Success Center
Housing services
The Office of Campus Ministry at Fontbonne University serves the spiritual needs of the entire campus community, giving special attention to the student body. We approach ministry through our catholic lens and honor the Catholic heritage and traditions on which the institution was established. Fontbonne is sponsored by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet, a religious order of women dedicated to serving the dear Neighbor without distinction. We are a program marked by both/ands.
Library services
The library at Aquinas Institute of Theology is a spacious, quiet, welcoming area with comfortable seating, study carrels, two computers for student use, as well as a printer and copier. Faculty members often place specialized materials on reserve for students in their classes. These materials, like the reference books, do not circulate so that they are available for all students.
Medical services
The SLU Student Health Center offers a wide range of services covering the basic cold to specialized care of preexisting medical conditions. We're here for you, whether it's a quick flu shot to keep you healthy, advice on vaccines before spending a semester abroad or ongoing physical therapy to help you recover from an injury.
