History
RSU was founded in 1909 – just two years after Oklahoma was granted statehood. The university was officially established as Eastern University Preparatory School in Claremore by the Oklahoma Legislature in its second session.
Education
RSU offers a variety of bachelor’s and associate degrees to assist students in achieving their academic goals. As well as a vibrant campus life with student organizations to foster development inside and outside of the classroom.

Rogers State University views strategic planning as an ongoing cyclical process designed to improve institutional effectiveness and align the university with its environment.

I'd recommend it for introverts
Great university and I'm going to miss it when I graduate this summer. Most of the professors are amazing and are willing to help if you need help on your subject. They also have an amazing library and writing center that helps students find sources and critique papers. Administration went above and beyond for me. It is a small college so if you're an extrovert or prefer an active social life you might find RSU boring, but I loved it as an introvert.

Rivers State University is a good university that focuses on giving core values to her student. At my time at the University I focused on joining community and clubs and acquiring a variety of skills and certificates in leadership, communication and software development. I also took on leadership position which built my character and strength while in the school.

I like the environment because it's student friendly and not toxic. What I don't like is that the school doesn't not have enough classrooms, functioning laboratory, there are no departmental buildings, and the school policy is affecting students studies especially no school no examination

While some computing resources may be dedicated to specific research, teaching, or administrative tasks that would limit their use, freedom of expression must, in general, be protected. The University does not limit access to information due to its content when it meets the standard of legality. The University's policy of freedom of expression applies to computing resources.
