History
Created in 1922 as Wichita Falls Junior College, the second municipal junior college in Texas, its earliest home was in Wichita Falls High School with which it shared both the building and faculty. Later, a legislative act and a vote of the people of Wichita Falls set up a separate tax district to support the junior college.

Midwestern State University is a leading public liberal arts university committed to providing students with rigorous undergraduate and graduate education in the liberal arts and the professions. Through an emphasis upon teaching, augmented by the opportunity for students to engage in research and creative activities alongside faculty and to participate in co-curricular and service programs, Midwestern State prepares its graduates to embark upon their careers or pursue advanced study.

Undergraduate research is an inquiry or investigation conducted by one or more undergraduate students, with faculty guidance, that attempts to make an intellectual, creative, or applied contribution to one or more disciplines. Adopted in April 2013.

Opinion - It offers good and practical lessons that match with the current job requirements Like - It have many campus around Zimbabwe, It also have different schedules that is full time, part time and convectional Dislike _ Some of the lecturer are students, The only held one graduation per year and choose only one location . Happy at TUS
My time at TUS has been an incredibly happy and fulfilling college experience. The academic staff here are not only knowledgeable but also supportive and genuinely invested in helping students succeed. Their passion for teaching and mentorship has made learning a joy, and I've grown both intellectually and personally under their guidance. One of the highlights of my college experience has been the delicious food available on campus. From cozy cafes to bustling dining halls, there's always something delicious to satisfy my cravings. The variety and quality of food options have made meal times something to look forward to, and it's been a great way to connect with friends over shared meals. Speaking of friends, I've been fortunate to make some truly amazing ones at TUS. The community here is diverse, welcoming, and inclusive, and I've formed deep and meaningful friendships that I know will last a lifetime. Whether studying together in the library, grabbing lunch between classes, or exploring the campus on weekends, the quality of the friendships I've made has greatly enriched my college experience and made it all the more enjoyable.

Midwestern State University's Information Technology department is located on our Wichita Falls campus, in the Memorial Building. We provide the following services:

The Vinson Health Center endeavors to teach and learn, to heal and comfort, to embrace practicality and rationality, and to empower our campus community with self-sustaining health.
Campus life
The MSU Campus Carry Task Force began work in September 2015 to develop and recommend policies to President Suzanne Shipley. The task force submitted its recommendations March 28 following months of information gathering and deliberation. Dr. Shipley communicated with the campus community April 4 regarding her response to the proposed rules and made recommendations to the MSU Board of Regents in May. The Board of Regents accepted and approved these recommendations with a slight modification in wording regarding gun storage.
