Founded in 1877, Colorado's Regis University is the only Jesuit, Catholic university in the Rocky Mountains and one of 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States.
Regis University is made up of three unique colleges, all with the same goal of educating students to become global citizens ready to make the world a better place. Through Jesuit values, students in Anderson College of Business and Computing, Regis College and Rueckert-Hartman for Health Professions graduate with an understanding of each individual can leave a lasting mark.
The mission of the Regis University Research and Scholarship Council (URSC) is to promote and support scholarly, research, creative and interdisciplinary projects within Regis University. To accomplish this URSC aims to help support faculty and student projects that will contribute to the body of human knowledge and enrich the educational experience. All proposals must be based in research and scholarship and have the potential to contribute to the field or discipline. Proposals must constitute an endeavor that advances human knowledge in a manner that demonstrates in depth understanding of the context in which the endeavor occurs.
Dedicated to advancing student and alumni careers, Center for Career and Professional Development provides resources such as resume assistance, interview coaching and career transition support. Serving the community of Regis University alumni is integral to our mission. Therefore, the services provided by Center for Career and Professional Development are available indefinitely at no cost to all Regis University alumni.

The Regis University Library is dedicated to providing a full range of library services and resources to Regis students and faculty, without regard to their geographic location. The Dayton Memorial Library (DML) was built in 1966 and is located on the Northwest Denver campus. It underwent a major renovation in 1997.
In addition to a robust offering of online degree programs and certificates, Regis University has three physical campuses in the Denver metropolitan area, all conveniently located adjacent to interstate highways so they are easy to access by commuter students. Our historic, traditional campus in Northwest Denver was established in 1887 and is between interstates 76 and 70 while our Thornton and Denver Tech Center campuses are both next to Interstate 25.

Regis University is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC), one of six regional institutional accreditors in the United States. HLC accredits degree-granting post-secondary institutions in the North Central region. Regis University’s most recent accreditation was in 2009, and the institution remains in good standing. In 2018-2019, a peer review team from HLC will conduct an onsite visit as part of Regis’s regular reaffirmation of accreditation process.
