Founded in 1915: in St. Louis, Missouri, by Sisters of Loretto, a Catholic religious organization, Webster College (originally named Loretto College) was one of the first Catholic women's colleges west of the Mississippi River.
The Dean of Students Office is comprised of Student Affairs professionals who assist students, faculty, staff and campus administration with questions or concerns pertaining to relevant policies and procedures and help identify the appropriate campus resources to help resolve student problems.
It is a well-known fact that new college students who live on campus have higher GPAs, become more involved in campus activities, and are more likely to earn a diploma than those who live off-campus.
To maximize this advantage, Webster University built two new residence halls at the main campus in the historic St. Louis suburb of Webster Groves. These halls, East and West Hall, opened in Fall 2006. Additionally, Maria Hall underwent a $4 million renovation in 2008, and brand new furniture was installed in 2008 in the Webster Village Apartments complex.

Through the Library website, Webster University students, faculty, and staff have access to the online library catalog, tutorials, electronic reserves, and over 160 databases. The library also offers a diverse collection of print and electronic books to meet the research needs of you and your students.
The Webster University IT Service Desk serves as a single point of contact between users and technology service staff in order to provide users with the most efficient support possible in regards to their technology questions and issues.
Webster University's Student Health Services Department is a nurse-directed clinic staffed by a Registered Nurse. The Registered Nurse provides medical treatment of minor illness and injuries for the University students. All services are confidential and treatment is free of charge.

Since it's grand opening in 1992 Grant Gymnasium has served as the home for Gorlok Athletics. The facility holds games for Men's Basketball, Women's Basketball, and Volleyball along with numerous other Athletic Department events and student activities.
