The University of Minnesota, Morris makes its home on a more-than-125-year-old campus. The first buildings housed an American Indian boarding school, first administered by the Sisters of Mercy order of the Catholic Church and later by the United States Government.

We are located in Gay Hall across from Health Services. The Wellness Center exists to support students in making healthy choices related to their health and wellness. We take a holistic approach to supporting students and offer programming throughout the school year related to physical health, mental health, sexual health and violence prevention.

The University of Minnesota, Morris is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). Morris's next comprehensive evaluation is scheduled for 2019-20. Professional accreditation for elementary and secondary teacher preparation has been granted by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education and the Minnesota Board of Teaching.
