The departments on campus have your best interests in mind. From protection and health to plans for your future.
Housing services
At Gordon, your residence hall is more than just a bed to sleep in—it’s a place to call home. Here, you’ll plug in to a transformative community that will help you develop spiritually, emotionally, academically, vocationally and socially during your college years. From floor fellowship events to studying with friends in our on-campus coffee shops—like Chester’s Place and Bistro 255—to sharing daily meals in Lane or Gillies, you’ll develop lasting relationships and learn from others who are different than you.
Library services
The Jenks Library provides information resources, research assistance, and a welcoming environment for individual and collaborative learning in support of the curriculum and mission of Gordon College.
ICT services
The Center for Technology Services (CTS) provides centralized support for all campus technology needs and works collaboratively with faculty, staff and students to explore, design and support effective and appropriate uses of technology in the curriculum.
Medical services
The Health Center is here to help you develop a balanced approach to your well-being and guide you in incorporating healthy activities into your life.
Campus life
- Gordon College is committed to the traditional liberal arts model and residential college experience. We believe that living in community in a residence hall can be one of the most transformative aspects of the college experience. Approximately 90% of students live on campus. The Residence Life staff is made up of RDs, RAs, and ACs seeking to glorify God through the cultivation of an intentional Christian community.
- Students who are married, are 23 years of age or older, are living with relatives, have part-time status or are on a special program, are normally allowed to live off campus. All other students are required to live on campus unless granted special permission by the director of housing.
Sports facilities
- Since the day U.S. President Teddy Roosevelt supposedly played a game of polo on our grassy quad, Gordon’s campus has become home to more than 19 varsity athletic teams and many intramural and club sports. Although polo at Gordon is long gone, there are a number of other sports you can play as a student, ranging from ultimate frisbee to rowing.
- Just looking to stay fit? Take advantage of the wooded trails on our 450-acre campus, and our 78,000-square-foot Bennett Athletic and Recreation Center (including cardio and weight equipment, an indoor pool and track, basketball and racquetball courts, studio classrooms, a rock gym and more).
Student clubs
Do you have an interest in beekeeping, learning Japanese, or joining an improv team? We’ve got a club for that and for about 117 other interests. All of these clubs are student run and funded through the Gordon College Student Association (GCSA). Check them out for yourself and one day maybe you’ll start your own.
