WSU was founded in Ogden, Utah as Weber Stake Academy in 1889. “Weber” comes from the name of the county where the university is located, which was named after John Henry Weber, an early American fur trapper.
Weber State has more than 100 undergraduate majors and areas of emphasis that lead to associate’s or bachelor’s degrees.

Accommodations for students and parents are available at the beautiful, air-conditioned Wildcat Village. The basic set up of these rooms are single- and double-room apartments with a bathroom, a common living area and kitchen. Parents can stay in the same suite as their children upon request.
Weber State University provides secure wireless internet access for use by faculty, staff, and active students. Limited access is also offered to guests visiting campus via our WSU Guest network.
The center provides quality, cost-effective outpatient medical care. Services include treatment for common illnesses and injuries and disease prevention activities. Although the main purpose of the center is to serve students, faculty and staff may use the facility for a nominal fee.

WSUSA has a two-fold purpose: to represent the concerns, needs and desires of the student body, and to assist in the development of students. WSUSA is the University's official representative for all fee paying students and is committed to aggressively pursuing comprehensive internal and external student representation. WSUSA acknowledges dissimilar opinions by attempting to achieve a broad-based representation. WSUSA provides and supports programming and activities designed to involve and enrich the student body. WSUSA provides students with a variety of services and opportunities for community interaction and co-curricular learning unique to a campus setting.

I loved the small class sizes and how great my professors were. It was fairly inexpensive, just finding parking was the only issue.
