About
History
SUFE's history can be traced back to the Fall of 1917 when a commerce program was established at Nanjing Higher Normal School. In 1921, the program was transferred to Shanghai and developed into Shanghai College of Commerce which was the vanguard in commercial education in Mainland China.

- SUFE currently has 7 first-level doctoral programs in theoretical economics, applied economics, law, Marxist theory, statistics, management science and engineering, and business management; 52 second-level doctoral programs; 12 first-level master's programs; 12 professional master's programs; and 7 post-doctoral programs. It also has 4 second-level national key disciplines (including training programs); 4 second-level key disciplines of the Ministry of Finance; 6 Shanghai second-level key disciplines; 2 Shanghai first-class disciplines (type A); 4 Shanghai first-class disciplines (type B); and 1 Class II Shanghai peak discipline for higher education.

ICT services
The Educational Technology Center of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, founded in September 1999, is an educational auxiliary body directly subordinate to the university. It serves as an indispensable part of the university’s public service system.
Medical services
The Medical Health Center is the university's internal medical service center, providing services for all students and staff of the university. Health care and outpatient services, including internal medicine, surgery and gynecology, are the main services provided.

Sports facilities
The College Cup is a large sports competition consisting of six events in basketball, volleyball, football, badminton, table tennis and tennis. Whilst providing a varied extra-curricular life, the activities also promote a strong and healthy physique and improve students' sense of competition and teamwork ability.
Student clubs
There are 78 student clubs at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, including the Accounting Association, the Forum of International Cooperation, the DIY Club, the Club of Tea Arts, the Karate Club, the Golf Club, Translover, the Association of Student Assistants, the Sunshine Public Welfare Club and the Hand-in-hand Environmental Protection club[Similar as above. According to our research online, we think this is an environmental protection club. Please let us know if this is incorrect.]. They can generally be classified into 5 categories of academia, art and literature, sports, practice and public welfare.

well, to be honest, the university that I'm studying is not about learning it's about getting higher scores and doing so many school activities, didn't understand if it is a university or Activity centre. however, the university was helping a lot with students who had financial problems to continue their study .
