Overview
The MIB at Shanghai University of Finance and Economics is one of the earliest business universities in China and has evolved into a key multidisciplinary and research-oriented university with a focus on economics and management. SUFE is part of the national 211 Project and 985 Project Advantageous Discipline Innovation Platform and has been selected twice for the Double First-Class initiative by the government. The university spans over 812.9 acres with three campuses, the main campus located in Yangpu District, Shanghai. Currently, there are 20,470 students enrolled, including nearly 500 international students from 87 countries. SUFE has consistently ranked at the top among finance and economics universities in China according to the China University Ranking.The college of business of SUFE encompasses three primary disciplines: Business Administration, Applied Economics, and Theoretical Economics. In the fifth round of national discipline assessment by the Ministry of Education, both Business Administration and Applied Economics were rated A+, placing them in the top 2% nationwide.
