In 1991, Professor Ion Smedescu, Ph.D., had the initiative of setting up the Romanian-American University. He was the founder and Rector of the University and also President of the Romanian-American Foundation for the Promotion of the Education and Culture, in the activities of which the University is integrated.

I would say that the university has great teachers, amazing values and also a plethora of opportunities that we, the students, can take advantage of. It's a great university that teaches you soft skills and also practical skills, not just dumping books and data down on you.
Overall, it was a good experience, the university offered me a good environment for me to grow my pations and skills.
