Texas Tech University was created by legislative action in 1923 and has the distinction of being the largest comprehensive higher education institution in the state of Texas. The university is the major institution of higher education in a region larger than 46 of the nation's 50 states and is the only campus in Texas that is home to a major university, law school and medical school.
Twelve colleges and schools makeup the academic areas at Texas Tech University and offer more than 150 undergraduate degrees, 100 graduate degrees, and 50 doctoral degrees.

TecnoCampus stood out to me for its unique blend of academic rigor and real-world business connections. The university's partnership with Pompeu Fabra University adds a layer of academic reputation to the degrees offered. The campus, located at Mataró, its 40 minutes from Barcelona, thing that can be exhausting sometimes. But it's nearby the sea and also, it's aligned with the entrepreneurial spirit of the courses. In the Business Administration and Innovation Management program, I've gained a deep understanding of the various business structures, strategies, and management styles. There are a high average of courses meant to be practical and inspired or done through real world practice. We have a huge focus on team work and communication skills. Moreover, the support from various companies and institutions underscores the practical orientation of the program. This not only enhances the learning experience but also significantly improves the employment prospects post-graduation.
My experience at Texas Tech is very fair! I liked all the applied lab classes where I truly would use the material that I learned in my theory classes in actual projects! There's a lot to learn at Texas Tech where an ECE major can truly try and figure out what they want to study in further studies!
Biological sciences is underfunded, mediocre professors, horrible labs. You learn a bit, but not enough to generate thorough interest. Many changes need to be made on the campus and department. Overall neutral about my experience, a bit of a disdain for some professors due to their grading polices and weird excuses.

The Robert H. Ewalt Student Recreation Center opened its doors for the first time in the spring of 1980 and is one of the largest campus recreation facilities in the United States.Other facilities include a 6,530 square foot free weight room; a circuit training room with selectorized weight equipment; two cardiovascular equipment areas and an Entertainment Exercise Studio with over 120 pieces of cardiovascular equipment total; speed bag room; aerobics/dance studios; large mat room; 12 handball/racquetball courts; elevated 1/8 of mile jogging track; carpeted locker rooms with shower facilities and saunas; and a squash court. Located on the lower level is an Equipment Issue window.
