Industrial design transcends traditional considerations of form and function. It encompasses interaction and system adaptation, while also focusing on user needs and creating engaging user experiences. The Industrial Design program is delivered by Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e).

The goal of the Industrial Design master’s program from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) is to support you in becoming a self-directed industrial design engineer with a unique competency profile. This profile combines specific attitude, skills and knowledge from five areas of expertise: creativity and aesthetics;technology and realization; user and society; business and entrepreneurship; and math, data and computing.

On top of a solid base in all areas, you can develop your individual profile by specializing in two areas throughout the master.

Professional perspective

As a graduate of the Master’s degree program in Industrial Design, you will have a proactive and multifaceted background in technology covering user research and design as well as technology itself. As a true team player you will be able to respond optimally to issues arising from both industry and the community at large.

This program is officially recognized and accredited by the Accreditation Organization of the Netherlands and Flanders (NVAO).
