The goal of the Industrial Design master’s program from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) is to support you in becoming a self-directed industrial design engineer with a unique competency profile. This profile combines specific attitude, skills and knowledge from five areas of expertise: creativity and aesthetics;technology and realization; user and society; business and entrepreneurship; and math, data and computing.
On top of a solid base in all areas, you can develop your individual profile by specializing in two areas throughout the master.
As a graduate of the Master’s degree program in Industrial Design, you will have a proactive and multifaceted background in technology covering user research and design as well as technology itself. As a true team player you will be able to respond optimally to issues arising from both industry and the community at large.

The IELTS – or the International English Language Test System – tests your English-language abilities (writing, listening, speaking, and reading) on a scale of 1.00–9.00. Minimum required score (Grade C):
C1 Advanced is a Cambridge English Qualification. It reports on the Cambridge English Scale between 142 and 210. You will receive a separate score for each of the four skills (reading, writing, listening and speaking) and for Use of English. These five scores are averaged to give you an overall result for the exam. Universities and colleges may ask you to achieve a specific score, either overall or for a particular skill.
Note: degree programmes and applications may require a more specific minimum score for admission.
You have direct access to the TU/e-master’s program Industrial Design after completing the TU/e bachelor's program Industrial Design. This also goes for a bachelor's degree Industrial Design of Delft University of Technology or Industrial Design or Creative Technology of University of Twente.
