As supply chain complexity increases, reverse logistics becomes more critical to organizations seeking a competitive edge. A first-of-its-kind program, this Reverse Logistics Management program at American Public University provides a comprehensive examination of practical applications in domestic and international transportation and logistics scenarios. It also provides an opportunity to research military retrograde operations and best practices. Coursework explores global reverse logistics management, technology, decision-making strategies, and policies and regulations.

What You Will Do

Analyze best practices of a reverse logistics operation
Compare and contrast successes and failures in reverse logistics operations using case studies
Trace the history of reverse logistics in the military and commercial industry, comparing it to current applications
Informally survey military, manufacturing, or retail decision makers to learn how to assess qualitative and quantitative data in reverse logistics processes
Prepare a plan to implement a reverse logistics process and technology in a manufacturing, retail, or military operation
