The goals of the Molecular Cell Biology training at UCL are to produce scientists who have explored one area of cell biology in great depth, as well as being familiar with the full scope of molecular cell biology.

This four-year PhD provides a broad in-depth training in molecular cell biology and fundamental aspects of interdisciplinary biomedical science. The course provides students with the opportunity to carry out cutting-edge research in an internationally renowned environment.

Research

The mission of the LMCB is to understand cell and tissue function in health and disease through interdisciplinary, discovery-based research and technology development. Our particular strengths lie in applying and developing world-leading cutting-edge imaging across biological scales.
