Description
The scholarship provides an opportunity for a Japanese student with financial need to undertake postgraduate study at UCL.

Eligibility
Candidates must fulfil all of the following criteria:
- be eligible to pay the Overseas fee rate;
- be a resident of Japan;
- AND have submitted a complete admission application (including the submission of references) for a full-time one-year Master's degree at UCL. Please note: Distance-learning options are not eligible for this fund; students must be coming to the UK to attend UCL in person.

Applicants must first submit a complete UCL admission application, including references.
A separate scholarship application is required through Portico. Applicants must open their active admission application, select “Funding,” choose “Check and apply” under “Funds Available,” and select the relevant scholarship.
A separate scholarship application form must be submitted for each Master’s programme for which funding is requested.
