Technology alone does not improve healthcare. Successful digital innovation requires an understanding of the interactions among people, organizations, and technology. Within Digital Health, you study how digital innovations can be successfully adopted and implemented in health(care) practice.

This track focuses on the human side of digital innovation. Ideal for students who want to work on health-related challenges from an interdisciplinary perspective. Rather than developing technology yourself through programming or engineering, you will learn how to implement digital health solutions through communication, policy, and organizational innovation.
Develop expertise in the adoption, implementation, and evaluation of digital health applications, such as health chatbots, virtual and augmented reality, smartphone-based applications, wearable devices, biosensors, and other healthcare management apps.

Humanities and Digital sciences, such as; Communication and Information Sciences; Communication Studies and Linguistics; Digital Culture and Society;

Social and Behavioral sciences, such as; Psychology; Sociology
Data Science.

The academic background of the students in our Master's program varies a lot. If you have a Bachelor's degree in a different subject area than those mentioned above, you are also welcome to apply if you have basic knowledge of and have followed courses on, for example, communication theory, psycholinguistics, social psychology, or business communication.
