
Overview
This Master of Science delivers a double Master degree, RNCP Title Level 7 from two renowned schools, emlyon business school and Institut Lyfe.
This program enables foreign or French students to acquire a high-level, specialized education aimed at the main functions of the hospitality industry in companies whose scope is resolutely oriented towards international markets. This program requires a professional mission at the end of the course for a minimal duration of 4 months (internship, VIE, fixed-term contract or permanent contract).
As a student of the MSc in International Hospitality Management from emlyon business school you will be studying at two top European business schools with global recognition for excellence.
The hospitality courses and management courses have been co-designed by experts at Institut Lyfe (formerly Institut Paul Bocuse) and emlyon business school, enabling you to become a hospitality expert through the course of one of the two tracks depending on your past educational experience in the industry.

- Fill a post within a property or regional or corporate office of a multinational enterprise
- Start a small or medium enterprise or take over a family concern
- Pursue a career in operational or financial consulting, hospitality design, asset management, brokerage, banking or related services focused on the hospitality industry
- Fulfill the hospitality function in a non-hospitality industry or use related hospitality and business skills to advantage in a service sector.

Year 1- Foodservice Management (Lyon): Build a strong foundation in hospitality with courses in marketing, finance, and operations. Design and test a restaurant concept through a pop-up project in Lyon, the world capital of gastronomy.
- Hospitality Management (Paris): Explore luxury and lifestyle hospitality with courses in service design and digital innovation. Create a hotel brand concept and present it to industry executives. Experience Paris’ vibrant hospitality scene during Hospitality Week.
- International Management (Las Vegas): Study casino management, large events, and asset management. Tackle a real-world consulting project and discover Las Vegas’ unique hospitality ecosystem.
- Professional Thesis: Analyze a key industry topic to develop your expertise.
- Internship: Gain 4-6 months of hands-on experience or start your career anywhere in the world.

Students holding one of the following degrees can apply:
- A validated Master 1 degree or a 4 year Bachelor’s degree equivalent to Bac + 4
- A validated Licence 3 degree or a 3 Bachelor’s degree equivalent to Bac+3, with an excellent profile (limited to 30% of the cohort)
Mandatory documents (all the documents provided need to be in English or French except passport and identity card):
- A resume
- A copy of an official valid identity card or passport
- A certified copy of your most recent academic degree
- An enrollment certificate / A certificate of attendance for graduating students
- A certified copy of your transcripts from the first year of your undergraduate education until now
