Designed to support and enhance your professional and academic development, whether you are a recent graduate or trainee surgeon, this Surgical Sciences MSc programme offered by UCL is for you.

The Surgical Sciences MSc provides the opportunity for you to undertake cutting-edge research in projects worth 50% or 33% of the final degree. Using a bespoke approach whenever possible, UCL match your speciality and career aspirations to either a laboratory group or clinical research team. The research project is complemented by three compulsory modules, each worth 15-credits (totalling 25% of your degree):

Research Methodologies and Transferable Skills (for analytical and statistical skills)
Robotics Surgical Skills (for hands-on training)

Vascular and Microsurgical Skills (for hands-on training)

By graduating with a Master of Science you will enjoy an employable advantage over those without, while an MSc Surgical Sciences degree has a further advantage by demonstrating surgical skills both practical and knowledge-based.
