Overview
The Graduate Certificate in Nonclinical Regulation of Biomedical Products at Northeastern University provides students with an opportunity to understand, develop, and apply global compliance standards in areas that are separate and distinct from direct clinical patient care. This includes, but is not limited to, design and preclinical development processes, including in vitro and in vivo animal testing, in silico testing, small scale/large scale manufacturing process development and validation, development and maintenance of supply chains, as well as product handling and distribution.
Choose your specialization
Choose from elective courses that cover a broad range of practical and relevant issues in the field, many of which were developed in collaboration with quality assurance professionals and pharmaceutical industry partners.
International students
F-1 students must be full-time students during their first term and can take a reduced course load in their final academic term, as long as there are no other degree requirements. Students are not eligible for OPT, as they have not completed one academic year (two quarters having been completed rather than the three quarters that is the academic year).
This program is visa-eligible at Northeastern University campuses in the United States and Canada.
Disclaimer: Visa eligibility may vary by location and individual circumstances. Applicants are responsible for verifying the most up-to-date visa regulations with the relevant visa or immigration agency before applying.
