Overview
Students gain a fundamental understanding of AI and delve into the ethical and social issues arising from AI technologies through a rigorous interdisciplinary programme combining philosophy, computer science, logic, psychology, and the arts.
Students acquire an applicable set of analytical tools and learn to think clearly and critically about AI systems. In our wide-ranging curriculum, students consider the ramifications of AI in a variety of domains, including science, law, economics, public policy, healthcare, and business and finance.
Students are required to complete a total of 30 credits of coursework, including 12 credits of core courses, 12 credits of elective courses and a 6-credit compulsory Capstone Project course. Classes will be held at Lingnan’s state-of-the-art M+ Campus in the heart of the West Kowloon Cultural District (subject to approval).
