HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht's Engineering programme focuses on real-life projects. Various teaching methods are used, such as lectures, workshops, blended learning, feedback sessions and peer reviews. Classes are interactive and there is plenty of room for discussion and for including your own case studies.
Each semester you will undertake one or two practical assignments within your own working environment. Additionally, a group project will be conducted in a multidisciplinary team each semester. Throughout all three modules, there is a strong emphasis on developing leadership skills.

General requirements
- If you want to start with the Master of Engineering, you need to have a related (technical) Bachelor’s degree.
- To follow the Master of Engineering, three years of relevant work experience are required.
- Because the practical assignments and the graduation project revolve around your work, it is important to have a relevant job when starting the Master of Engineering. Of course, this job should be a good fit with the Master in terms of content.
- An intake interview is a mandatory part of the admission procedure.
- Because the programme aims to deepen and broaden your profile as well as bring you up to date with current developments, English is a must.
