Overview
The Biomedical Engineering - Mastertrack Regenerative Engineering and Materials programme from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) comprises a mixture of courses, an (international) internship and an in-depth research project. In this master’s track you will get to grips with the fundamental challenges of regenerative medicine and develop solutions in the laboratory.
This can be achieved by stimulating the body's own repair mechanisms or, when the body cannot heal itself, by implanting new tissues and organs grown in the laboratory. This rapidly emerging, multidisciplinary field will have a significant impact on current and future health care.

General requirements
The following Bachelor's degree certificates from the TU/e or any of the Dutch universities of technology (Delft University of Technology or University of Twente) provide direct access to the Master programs:
- Applied Physics
- Electrical Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
For students with a different BSc program, there are specific additional requirements to resolve deficiencies, the form and weight of which depends on the learning outcomes and contents of the BSc program. Deficiencies with respect to the AI&ES admission criteria can potentially be resolved in an AI&ES pre-master program or through homologation.
