Overview

Enrollment can be on a full- or part-time basis. Community Health Sciences MPH students at the University of Illinois at Chicago are admitted to the Comprehensive Program or to the Professional Enhancement Program (PEP) for experienced professionals with at least three years of paid public health or community health experience. This program can be completed, face-to-face, online, or in a combination of these formats.

Community Health Sciences

Led by CHS faculty and students, the Collaboratory enhances reciprocal engagement between the community and UIC faculty, students, and staff to advance health justice—that all people would have the power and resources to have agency over their health, which requires addressing systems of oppression such as classism, racism, sexism and xenophobia.

Domestic Applicants must submit transcripts issued from the University for all undergraduate and post-baccalaureate work directly to SOPHAS. Domestic students who have completed course work at foreign institutions should follow the instructions provided below for international applicants for submitting those academic credentials.
All international transcripts must be uploaded directly into the UIC system after completing the Supplemental Application. Students uploading international transcripts must also pay a UIC International Credential Evaluation Fee. t.
