General requirements
To apply for this Master’s, you need an academic Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Econometrics. If you do not have a Bachelor's or Master's in Econometrics, you need to have proven knowledge of all the following topics at an advanced level:
- Econometrics
- Time series analysis
- Game theory
- Microeconomics, macroeconomics and finance
- If you hold a Bachelor's degree from a Dutch University of Applied Sciences (HBO), please note that you have to obtain an academic Bachelor’s degree in Econometrics first to be eligible to apply to the Master's in Econometrics. There is no pre-Master’s Econometrics available for students from a University of Applied Sciences (HBO) at the University of Amsterdam.
