Overview

The Studio Art with a Concentration in Printmaking program from University of North Texas integrates creative research, contemporary theory, and studio practice culminating in a solo exhibition.

While in the Studio Art M.F.A. program, you will engage in fine art critical practice using ideas and methodologies from across all seven disciplines in the College of Visual Arts and Design. Housed in a world-class Tier 1 research institution, the vibrant cultural capitals of Dallas and Fort Worth are a short drive from the UNT Art Building.

Key Features

The graduate programs are led by engaged artists and educators who are recognized nationally and internationally for their intellectual and creative research. The studio art faculty are passionate and work to ensure that students realize their potential.
Access to a diverse collection of printmaking assets including four lithography presses, seven relief, intaglio and monotype presses and a large assortment of ink rollers and brayers, lithography stones, squeegees, intaglio hand tools and mokuhanga tools.
