Students in the Public Administration (Online) MPA program offered at Eastern Kentucky University come from a variety of undergraduate degree programs, for example, recent graduates of the program have undergraduate degrees in criminal justice, health-related fields, economics, social work, political science, English, paralegal programs, and chemistry.

- submit a complete application
- meet the general requirements of both the Graduate School and MPA program
- have verbal scores of 145 or above, and quantitative scores of 145 or above on the Graduate Record Exam (GRE). Note: Applicants with a cumulative undergraduate GPA of 2.75 (on a 4.0 scale) are exempt from the GRE requirement.
