A multisciplinary approach
Télécom Paris Master of Science in Digital Engineering (Diplôme d'ingénieur) offers a pluridisciplinary and comprehensive education covering the entire digital spectrum.
Our training is based on scientific excellence in Mathematics, Physics and Computer Sciences. And, it goes far beyond, to provide a global approach to digital engineering encompassing Sciences & Technology, Economy, Sociology, Law and Environment. Télécom Paris unique training is immersed in research and permanent contact with its economic and technological partners. It encourages innovation, entrepreneurship, and international skills through a truly hands-on approach.
Courses include:
- Fundamental Sciences: Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
- Engineering Sciences, Computer Sciences
- Economics & Quantitative Social Sciences
- Business, Management, Law & Innovation & Entrepreneurship skills
- Humanities: Sustainable Development, Corporate Social Responsibility, Ethics.
- Internationalization Skills: Foreign Languages, Cross-cultural Management, Geopolitics.
A 2 to 3-year program
International students follow either a 24-month Master of Science in Engineering program (2nd and 3rd year of the curriculum) or a 36-monthfull program, depending on their previous education. Télécom Paris 2nd and 3rd year engineering program is taught either in English or in French.
A highly-tailored program
- During the 1st year, students follow mandatory scientific core courses as well as elective courses in languages, economic and social sciences, soft skills and Humanities.
- During the 2nd year, students choose 2 majors among 14 disciplines, 6 of which are fully taught in English and 2 partially.
- The 3nd year includes:
- Either a focus on one major for one semester or the possibility to apply to one of our selective Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris, which Télécom Paris is a member) or university partner Masters. In the latter option, you graduate both from Télécom Paris and either IP Paris or the partner university.
- A 6-month paid internship within a company or laboratory in France.

computer Science and networks.
2/ During the 2nd year, you choose two majors from 14 disciplines:
-- Artificial intelligence, image, signal processing and data science
--- Computer science, cybersecurity, cryptography, quantum information, coding, 3D and interactive systems...
--- Networks, telecommunications, wireless networks and iot; large digital infrastructures
--- Economy and digital innovations
3/ During your 3nd year, you focus on one major for one semester or choose to apply to one of our selective IP Paris or university partner Masters. In the latter option, you will graduate both from Télécom Paris and either IP Paris or the partner university.
The final year also includes a 6-month paid internship within a company or laboratory in France.

General requirements
- Be enrolled in a science or engineering program at a higher education institution outside of France.
- Have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies in Science or Engineering at the time of application.
- Have a minimum B1 level in French and/or English (B2 recommended) for scientific courses, validated by an official language test.
- 1st-year entry: You must be in your 3rd year of science or engineering studies abroad and have obtained 180 ECTS credits, by the start of the academic year in September.
- 2nd-year entry: You must be in your 4th year of studies outside France and have obtained 240 ECTS credits, by the start of the academic year in September.
