Overview
You will be able to undertake your placement at either a nursery, primary, secondary or special education school or within the University where you will observe classroom teaching, management, curricula and assessment strategies used by teachers and have first-hand experience of the UK education system. Placements will also allow you to reflect on your studies and observe how the theory is put into practice, which will help your further development and professional competence.
Students must ensure they bring all documentation for a criminal record check to the School of Education and Human Development at the start of the course. Students cannot be placed at school without the required criminal record check.
