Overview
The Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering prepares you for advanced practice or master’s-level thesis research. Students with assistantships are required to complete a thesis. Other students may elect either the thesis or nonthesis option. All coursework must have the approval of the academic advisor.
Concentrations
You may pursue the MS in Mechanical Engineering without a concentration or choose one of the following concentrations:
- Material science
- Mechanics and design
- Thermofluids
- Mechatronics
