Overview
The double specialisation Finance - Finance and Real Estate Finance programme of the University of Amsterdam must carry a minimum of 80 credits. You are advised to spread the programme over 1.5 years. In your 1st year you will take all courses of the Real Estate Finance track and write part of your thesis. In your 2nd year you take the compulsory courses Financial Markets and Advanced Corporate Finance. Also, you choose between the semester 1 electives of either the Asset Management track or the Corporate Finance track.

General requirements
- You need to hold an academic Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, or a degree in Business Economics, Economics or Business Administration with a specialisation in Finance or Real Estate Finance
- Eligible candidates must have at least 15 ECTS of courses in finance. This should include: Investments, Corporate Finance, and Derivatives. It is required to upload a course description of this course in your online application. Courses in econometrics (2nd or 3rd year course)
- Applicants with Bachelor's degrees in other areas must additionally have proven knowledge of: microeconomics, macroeconomics, accounting, mathematics and statistics at foundation-year level
- English language proficiency
- GRE or GMAT scores
- A motivation letter
