Overview
If you are looking to specialise in prosthodontics, this globally renowned programme at University College London (UCL) will help you see your patient management in a whole new way. You will develop a high level of clinical skill for diagnosing, treating, and restoratively managing advanced and complex cases with an evidence-based approach.The course covers all aspects of prosthodontic treatment, including fixed (both conventionally prepared and adhesive-retained designs), removable and implant-supported prostheses, for single missing teeth or partially or fully edentulous cases.
Our Prosthodontics (Advanced Training) programme is unique as our trainees are exposed to all dental implant treatment phases, including planning, surgical placement, and restoration. Students also undertake laboratory work to appreciate its role in successful clinical outcomes. You will gain experience in both analogue and digital workflows in our new state-of-the-art Institute and hospital facilities.

Employability
The MClinDent programme is recommended for dentists aiming for specialist practice in prosthodontics.
Most of our graduates progress onto the specialist list in prosthodontics. Our graduates also gain the necessary training requirements to sit the Membership in Restorative Dentistry (MRD) or Prosthodontics (MPros) examination.
Career trajectories of recent graduates include private practice, hospital and community positions and services, as well as academic roles.
